Open-source software
TILZA is built with the help of open-source software: libraries and fonts that people and companies wrote and published for others to use, some of which reach your device when you open TILZA. All their licences allow them to be used in a commercial service like TILZA, on condition that we name their authors’ rights and give their licences’ words, which is what this page does. Thank you to them.
This list is made from TILZA’s own code with every update, and a test checks each library’s licence before it comes into TILZA.
The licences in fullIn English, as their authors published them.
Fonts
TILZA’s two fonts are used as they are, unchanged, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which lets a font be used and passed on with any software, but not sold on its own.
Map
- Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
- The map is drawn by Leaflet, listed with the libraries below.
- When the map’s pictures come from a map company, its name and rights show on the map itself.
Libraries in the website
TILZA’s website is built with 55 libraries. The main ones:
- next: The website’s framework: its pages and its server
- react: Builds what you see on the screen
- react-dom: Puts it in the browser
- leaflet: The map
- libphonenumber-js: Reads and checks phone numbers
- qrcode: QR codes, like the one for a salon’s booking link
- @simplewebauthn/browser: Signing in with a passkey
- tailwindcss: The pages’ styles
MIT, ISC and BSD are short licences that allow use, copying and changes, commercial use included, on condition that their authors’ copyright notice and the licence’s words are kept. Apache-2.0 is the same, with a copy of its words. 0BSD doesn’t ask even that.
These build on other libraries in turn, all of them here by licence:

The picture library libvips, which runs only on the website’s server to make pictures smaller, as its authors published it, unchanged, and never reaches your device. Its code: github.com/libvips/libvips
On TILZA’s server
TILZA’s server also runs 129 other libraries that never reach your device, all under licences that allow commercial use (MIT, ISC, BSD-3-Clause, Apache-2.0, 0BSD). Their list, by name, is kept in TILZA’s records.
Trademarks
- The names of companies and products mentioned in TILZA, such as Google, Apple, WhatsApp and Microsoft, are trademarks of their owners. We mention them only to say what works with TILZA; it doesn’t mean they sponsor TILZA or work with it.

What is TILZA’s
TILZA’s name, logo, design and system are TILZA’s, as in «TILZA terms of use», and those terms don’t limit a right that the licence of any software on this page gives.
